Foldable Paper Mobile Stand With Old Paper
One of the things that every mobile user thinks while watching some video, holding the mobile in hand for a long time is just a stand which will be easy to carry and cheap. In this Instructable I will show how to make a paper mobile with old paper sheets lying around us, which can built in less than 5 mins and foldable so that it can fit into our wallet or pocket.
Supplies
1 used A4 sheet any thick paper will work fine
Take a used paper with a size similar to A4 sheet, the durability of the stand depends on the thickness of the sheet we are taking. After taking a sheet cut it into a square sheet.
Now take the square sheet and fold in the middle. Now open the sheet again and fold the first half towards the center and repeat the same for the another side. The sheet now looks like a closed door.
Now fold the doors in another half vertically backwards keeping the door side facing top. Fold diagonally forming a triangle and unfold it and repeat it for 4 times at all 4 corners as shown in the gif and return back to folding doors position.
Now open one side of the door then hold the center fold and close it with the opened side of the door as shown. Now we can see a pyramid like structure is formed.
Fold as shown so that it forms a T shape with triangle as top. Now fold the triangle top tip to the opposite side and press it so clear lines can be formed which helps for further steps. Unfold the whole paper to Step 2. Now we can see a square like structure towards the doors side of the paper. Flip the paper backwards and gently press the square folds.
Now comes the tricky part. Now fold the paper same as step 4 as shown in the video but this time it comes as a pressed pyramid.
Now repeat step 4 for the remaining area as shown in the gif. And that's it your stand is ready.
Folding Part
Now fold the stand as shown in the gif so that it will be easy to carry around.
