Folding football gate

Recently we moved to house with garden and my kids started to like football so I made them a football gate.

I had to make it folding so it won't block all the garden and doesn't take to much space when they are not plaing

Materials:

  • 2 X 100CM Pinewood
  • 2 X 75CM Pinewood
  • 2 X 150CM Pinewood
  • Screws
  • Goal net
  • Black/White spray color
  • 2 door hinges
  • Ring screws
  • Duct tape
  • 3 Long nails

Tools:

  • Rotate tool – Dremel
  • Impact driver- Makitar Cabinet Drawer Door 1.5 inch Length

Connecting the Woods

I have connected the woods in 2 parts like on the pictures with wood screws

The hinges were placed between the 2 wood parts connected with wood screws

In order to keep the gate stable I have med holes and placed long nails in them, I needed to use a long drill about 30 CM long so I have made one from another nail - cutting his head and shaving the other edge

I placed duct tape on specific places on the wood in order to cover some places to make separation between the colors and painted black and white

Connecting the Net

I have connected the net with small 1 inch wood screws
