Fox Origami
This Fox Origami is a fun activity to do with your kids, or to decorate a class room or a home for halloween.
Gather Your Supplies
Gather the supplies needed for this project:
- A piece of orange construction paper
- A ruler
- A black marker
- Scissors
Get Set Up
Place the materials on the table in front of you.
Measure the Paper
Hold the construction paper up vertically in front of you and use the ruler to measure three inches down from the top.
Turn Paper Into a Square
Fold the top 3 inches of the construction paper down, creating a flap.
Cut the Paper
Grab your scissors and cut off the 3 inch flap, making the paper into a square. Once the paper is cut, throw the flap away.
Fold the Paper
Fold the square in half to form a triangle.
Fold the Paper Again
Fold the triangle again to form a right triangle.
Unfold the Paper
Unfold the right triangle back so that the paper goes back into the original triangle.
Fold the Paper Twice More
Fold the left and the right sides of the orange paper towards the center crease of the paper forming two more triangles. Leave a small amount of space between the folds so they are not completely touching.
Turn the Paper Around
Turn the figure around so that the triangular flaps are facing away from you and towards the table.
Draw the Eyes
Draw two thinly curved half circles that face downwards on each side of the crease in the middle of the large triangle.
Draw the Nose
Draw a half circle on the tip of the big triangle and color it in.
Enjoy Your Fox
Clean up your area and enjoy your fox!
