Frappe Formula

A while back I was looking on Instructables for a good blended coffee recipe (specifically a caramel McDonald's Frappe) and I found one! "Frappé!! By Tandersen3". But after a while I wanted to make my own custom one with several different flavors, so I started experimenting! And this is what I got, The Frappe Formula! This isn't how to make a specific frozen coffee, it's how to make every frozen coffee!

Ingredients and Tools

Oops forgot the blender in that picture there, but anyways:

Ingredients:
Coffee
Milk
Ice cubes
Flavors you want

Tools:
1 cup measure
1/4 cup measure
Blender

You can replace the milk with half and half for a creamier drink and also the ice cubes can be replaced with coffee cubes for a less watered down drink (especially if you leave it out for a bit.

Measure and MIX!

Put one cup milk, one cup coffee, and 1 1/2 cups ice cubes into the blender (one ice cube is about one tablespoon, so approximately 24 ice cubes, a bit more if you froze them in a store bought mold instead of getting them out of the fridge).

Now BLEND!
It should have an nice, even, sludgy consistency.

Now for the fun part.
Add your flavorings! There are two types of flavorings you might want, sweeteners: "ice cream syrup, sugar, coffee syrups (get them at cash and carry)" and savory stuff: for instance peanut butter. You want a 1/2 cup of sweetener, so if you have two sweeteners use a 1/4 cup measure and if you want more than two then just make sure it adds up to 1/2 cup. Same with savory stuff. The measurements don't change if you only use sweeteners.

Now BLEND!!!

Again

Blend until it's all well mixed.

Fancy Stuff

At coffee places when you get a blended drink sometimes you'll get this cool spiral/checker thing with syrups going on the sides of the cup and on top of the whipped cream, if you don't care then just pour and skip this step. But for those with the artistic twist:

Grab the cup in one hand at an angle and a syrup bottle in the other, spin the cup slowly while pouring the syrup. Move the cup from side to side as you pour the syrup until you're satisfied then pour you're frappe. Now you can put whipped cream on top and checker it with syrup if you want to.
