Free Music Download From Grooveshark
Grooveshark is amazing and it has a million songs you can listen to, all for free. However, sometimes you want them downloaded so you can keep them. This instructable will show you how to do this.
I have only tried to do this with firefox, will try safari. If anyone else gets a solution without the activity window, post it. I find the activity window method to take to long for me.
I have tested playlist.com, rhapsody, and we7 as well for sources and they work for me.
As usual, anything you do is at your own risk, don't blame me. I don't know whether this is legal or not so don't point fingers. I chose Discipline by Nine Inch Nails simply because you can get the entire album free at nine inch nails's website, so I hope it isn't crossing andy copyright line. If it is I will remove it.

DownloadHelper
First you need to get the add on from here. http://www.downloadhelper.net/install.php. Just install it as an add on to firefox. After this restart firefox and go to grooveshark or your online radio of choice. There now should be three grey or colored balls on the top of your screen. If they are colored it meens they have found something to download.
Find Your Music
Search for any song of your choice. Click play and the balls should be colored and moving. click on them and there should be a bunch of numbers. If the extension is .mp3, you are set to download- just click on it. If not, then you need to hold your mouse there and wait until another menu comes up. Then you click on download and convert.
On a side note, if it looks like your download hasn't started yet just let the song buffer, after that it should be almost instantaneous. I have tried downloading multiple songs at a time but with mixed results as well.

Convert
To use your music not in the mp3 format, get MEncoder here: http://mplayer.en.softonic.com Remember where you download it so you can tell downloadhelper. Now open downloadhelper preferences to convert, where it says conversion select MEncoder and then input its address. Now you should be able to convert music- or video if you are so inclined.
On a sidenote- I know that you are able to do this with the activity window. However, for me even with the option double click was to slow, and you had to find your file.
