Use your screwdriver and pliers to carefully pry back the top of the case and empty all the contents of the battery.

What You'll Find Inside

What should come out of the battery is 6 AAAA cells, the bottom cover, the top cover, and the case itself. If you had lollipops, a small rodent, and a sock come out of the battery then you may have done something wrong.

The Battery case can have many purposes. Some examples are: Flashlights, Holders for small electronic parts. Use your imagination. Check out my other instructable on how to turn it into an electric hand warmer/heater https://www.instructables.com/id/Electric_Hand_Warmer/
