Fresh Homemade Basa Fish Salad
This is a delicious fresh and homemade fish salad sandwich made from basa fish instead of tuna.
It has quite a different and richer taste than many other tuna salads that you can buy at your local sub shop or from canned tuna. Once you have tasted this, you will not go back to those bland tuna salad sandwiches ever again!
Ingredients
* Basa Fish Fillet
* Mayonnaise
* Green Onions
* Bread
Mise En Place
* Slice the green onions to thin slices
* Defrost the fish for about 5 minutes or defrost it in the microwave oven for 30 seconds to a minute
Cook the Fish
Place a generous amount of oil on a large nonstick pan.
Slice Fish
Slice the fish to smaller flakes.
Mix It
Mix in the fish flakes with a tablespoon of mayonnaise. Sprinkle the green onions slices and mix It until it looks evenly spread.
Toast Bread
Toast the bread.
Assemble
Spread the tuna salad over the bread with a butter knife and assemble the sandwich.
Cut in half diagonally.
