Fried Curry Stuffed Buns
Hey Everyone! I hope you enjoy this yummy recipe for Fried Curry Stuffed Buns. I have other recipes just as cool as this one on my blog, AmbyCakes.
Ingredients
400g All Purpose Flour
1 Pack Yeast (about 7g)
280g Warm Water
2 TBS Sugar
15g Oil
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
About 2 Cups Panko Bread Crumbs
Frying Oil
Directions
Combine yeast, warm water, salt, sugar and oil in a large mixing bowl.
Sift and mix in flour.
Continue to mix until dough is stretchy, and isn't as sticky. It will begin to "crawl" when you mix and follow your spatula.
Dust your work bench/counter with flour and begin to knead your dough for 10-15 minutes.
Dough should feel relaxed.
Place dough ball in an oiled mixing bowl and cover with a damp tea towel/paper towel for 1 hour.
Once dough is doubled, portion into 16 balls.
Flatten one at a time, fill with a TBSP of curry and pinch at the ends, then gently roll.
Using your finger tips, dampen stuffed ball with water and gently roll in panko.
Fry each ball for about 2-3 minutes per side in a safe frying vessel, at 375F.
Drain and let rest on a paper towel lined sheet tray.
