Friendship Bracelet

The friendship bracelet is a quick and easy bracelet to make taking about 7 to 15 minutes.

Materials:

● 3 different colors for rope (length should be about 4-5 times around your wrist)

● Tape

● Scissors

● Lighter

Take Green Rope and Fold in Half With Cut Ends Facing You Making an Upside Down U Shape.

Tie a Knot a ½ Inch Down From Top of Rope.

Tie Another Knot a ½ Inch Below First Knot Leaving Small Gap Between Knots (just Large Enough for Your Purple and Pink Ropes to Fit Through).

Thread the Pink and Purple Ropes Through Gap Between the Two Knots. Make Sure They Are the Same Length on Each Side. Make the Purple Rope on the Outside.

Tape the Loop Securely Down.

Take the Left Side of Purple Rope and Place Over the Left Side of the Green Rope Then Under the Right Side of the Green Rope.

Take the Right Side of the Purple Rope, Place Over the Right Side of Green Rope Then Under the Left Side of the Green Rope.

Take the Left Side of Pink Rope and Place Over the Left Side of Green Rope Then Under the Right Side of Green Rope.

Take the Right Side of the Pink Rope, Place Over the Right Side of the Green Rope Then Under the Left Side of the Green Rope. Pull Pink and Purple Ends TIGHT! *Make Sure to Keep the Green Rope Down While You Tighten the Pink and Purple Ropes.

WARNING: It is important to pull each braid tight in order to have the best results.

Repeat Steps 6-9 Over and Over Until You Get the Desired Length.

REMINDER: Make sure to pull tight after each braid (after doing both pinkand purple ropes).

Tie a Knot Around the Bundle of Ropes at the End With the Green Rope So the Braid Stays Tight.

Cut the Purple and Pink Ropes Right Below the Knot and Leave About 1 ½ Inches of Green Rope.

Use the Lighter to Melt Together the Remaining Rope Ends So They Don’t Fray or Get Untangled.

To Finish, Tie Each End Around Desired Wrist in a Knot.
