Frisbee
Do you think your Frisbee is old and boring? Well now you can make your own! This instructable has step by step instructions on how to make a basic frisbee in just 5 steps using AutoCAD.
Making a Torus
The most important part part of a frisbee is its shape. To make the shape we go to 3D basics and select torus. Set the size to 10 inches.
Torus Thickness
Next up, the frisbees thickness should be set at 1 inch.
Design
Next step is to create 2 arcs that are 9 inches long and arc at a 110 degrees. The distance from each arc is up to you. After making the two arcs, they must then be closed off, preferably with another arc.
Design Cont.
The next step is to pushpull. In this example it is only pushpulled up only .1 inches, as long as it is under ,5 it shoukld be fine. Now we use the arraypolar command. The arraypolar command lets us make multiple copies of the object of interest and puts in a clockwise arrangement. First type in arraypolar. Then select the object and use the tip[ as the center point. This should make 6 copies.
Finishing Up
The number of copies you make is up to you, in this example 10 are made. After doing this you have made your basic Frisbee! Further personalization is up to you (recommended). Thank you for reading and enjoy your very own Frisbee!
