Gaming PC Building Guide

Building a gaming PC is a better option than buying a PC. It gives you the freedom to do anything, by building it yourself, the choice is yours. And it is also cheaper.

The components of a PC:

Hardware:

• CPU(Central Processing Unit): It is called the brain of a PC. It handles all the stuff you do, it is an essential part of a PC. If you have a unlimited budget, feel free to get any one. But if you have a limited budget for a gaming pc, you don't have a get a really high end processor. A budget CPU also works well. For gaming PC builders, the main focus should be on GPU.
• GPU(Graphics Processing Unit): GPU is the part that renders the image.This is the part you should try to spend the most on if you are building a gaming PC.
• RAM: This is the part where the programs currently in use are kept so that it can be quickly accessed by the CPU. Ram is like short term memory, it stores data and programs temporarily and deletes it after the computer is turned off.
• Hard Disk: This is the part that stores the information. It is like long term memory and stores information till you delete it. Unlike RAM, the data stored in it does not get deleted when PC turns off.
• Motherboard: You are going to connect all your components to a motherboard.

Software:

• Operating System: Operating system manages the software and hardware of the PC. There are many operating systems but if you want to game, Windows is the best. You will find almost all the games for windows.
• Steam: You can purchase and download games from steam. This is where you will be getting most of your games.

This PC build could easily handle all the latest games. You can easily
play these games at medium or high settings at 1080p and still get 30 - 60 fps. So this is a pretty solid setup for a $350 budget.

If your budget is $350 you should go for these components :

CPU: AMD athlon x4 860k - $90 or AMD Phenom II X4 955 - $90

GPU: Nvidia GTX 750 ti - $100 - $130. This is one of the best budget graphics card that you can get for yourself. It can handle new gaming titles with pretty ease at 1080p.

RAM: 8gb ddr3 ram - $30 - $50. 8gb ram will be enough to play for gaming and other stuff.

Motherboard: Gigabyte AMD F2A68HM-H - $50

PSU: 400W - $20 -$40

Hard Disk: WD Blue 1TB hard disk - $50

This PC build could easily handle all the latest games. You can easily play these games at medium or high settings at 1080p and still get 30 - 60 fps. So this is a pretty solid setup for a $350 budget.

This $500 PC can play GTA 5 at very high, 1080p and give you 50fps. You will get a better gaming experience from this pc than consoles.

This is a totally overpowered beast. Play any game at 4k with the highest settings possible and it wont lag even a bit.
