Garlic Bread
Crispity crunchity garlic buttery goodness
Ingredients
One fresh loaf of Italian bread
1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)
Minced garlic
Chopped onion
Oregano
Basil
Parsley
Paprika
Topping
Melt the butter
2 heaping tablespoons of minced garlic
1 teaspoon of chopped onions
1 teaspoon of oregano
1/2 teaspoon of basil
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
Blend butter and spices together
Putting It All Together
Slice the loaf in half
slice the bread most of the way through every 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. This has two advantages. It will make it easier to serve out the bread once it is done. more importantly it will let the topping you add to the bread seep down in between the slices to let the flavor get past just the surface of the bread.
Place the bread under the broiler in your oven
WATCH IT CAREFULLY

Bread under a broiler will go from raw to burnt cinder faster than take out Chinese food goes from "melt the roof of your mouth thermonuclear" to frosty the wonton
