2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
3 Tablespoons melted unsalted butter
1 3/4 teaspoons kosher salt
3 cups bread flour

1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 1/2 teaspoons of instant yeast
2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
3 Tablespoons melted unsalted butter
1 3/4 teaspoons kosher salt
3 cups bread flour
For Brushing
3 Tablespoons melted unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Mix
Combine all ingredients for dough, except for flour, in the large bowl and mix until well combined.
Flour
Slowly stir in small amounts of flour at a time.
Knead
Remove the dough from the bowl and put onto a floured counter. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
Rising
Take the dough and place it in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover the bowl with a dry towel or plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size (about 1 1/2 hours), or in the fridge overnight.
Forming Breadsticks
Divide the dough into 12-14 pieces and roll each piece into a 7 inch log. Place the dough logs onto a non-stick lined baking sheet, cover, and let rise again until doubled in size (about 1 hour), or in the fridge overnight.
Baking
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Bake for about 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Brushing
Combine butter, salt, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Brush breadsticks with the mixture immediately after taking them out of the oven. Serve warm and enjoy!
