Creating a Hidden Folder
In this Instructable we are going to create a hidden folder which can't be accesed unless you know it's there.
Since this may be your first time creating one, it's probably best to start with a new folder. I've called mine "Test folder" and put a few files in there. (Note: Just because this folder will be hidden, doesn't mean it has limitations. You can put anything you'd put in a normal folder in there.)

Hiding It
Click on the check box that says "Hidden". Press apply and choose the second option from the dialogue box that appears. Press "OK".
Your screen should look like this. (Or similar if you're using Windows 7.)
Finding It
Search for your folders name or thereabouts. You will notice your folder is not there. To find it press advanced search (see screenshot) and then the "Include non-index, hidden and system files." checkbress search. To make it visible again right click on it and go to the properties. Uncheck the "Hidden" option then press apply. On the prompt that appears press OK.
