Giant Wicked Witch Legs for Your Home

Creat giant wicked witch legs for your home!

8x4 foot piece of .25" plywood
Jig saw
White paint
Black paint
Red paint
Red Glitter
Spray adhesive or spray sealer

See the image below on how to cut the single sheet into 2 legs.
You'll notice that the base of each thigh and each shoe is the same width. 2 feet. Half the board.

I just "eyed" the slant for the red shoes.

I chose just a basic white paint at the hardware store, use whatever you want, but make sure its matt finish. You don't want to paint it so it reflex light on the black or white. Paint both legs and let dry.

Trash cans make good stands!

I used 2" painters tape and "eyed" again the space between the white and black stripes. You want them to be similar but you really don't have them exact. If your OCD prepare to measure a lot!

Once you've got them taped, paint the black stripe and let it dry again.

Once all the tape is slowly removed, I used a piece of cardboard to block off the red paint. I used just standard spray paint, but I chose a glossy luster, since they are meant to sparkle.

RIGHT AFTER I SPRAYED IT, I added generous amounts of red glitter, sprayed it again, poured more glitter on (you really can't over - do this step). When I felt comfortable with the "shine" I then coated it in UV coating spray. Just to really seal the glitter on and help with the shine and keep it from turning into pink slippers in the sun. LET IT ALL DRY AGAIN!

Know is the easy/fun part, drag these suckers to your front yard and play with the placement. Depending on the neighborhood you live in, you might want to anchor these ladies down, they could get stolen.

Play with some flood lights, and enjoy the compliments from the neighbors!
