Gift Pouch

Hi Friends,
In this Instuctable you will learn how to make a simple yet beautiful gift pouch with little sewing and hand embroidery.

Materials Required
Netted cloth/ any cloth of your choice
Embroidery thread, needle, sewing thread, embroidery hoop, decorative beads/ sequins, satin ribbon.

Once your supplies are ready,
Cut the selected cloth into the required size for small pouch, medium pouch or large pouch.
On the wrong side use back stitches and sew it into a pouch.you can use your sewing machine too.
Once the three sides are joined, hem the edges at the opening or use sewing machine for the same.

Once your pouch is ready, it's time to decorate it with hand embroidery.
Select the required coloured embroidery thread. The thicker the thread the bigger the flower. I have used all the six skeins here.
Here I have used French knots/ Bullion stitch for tiny roses and Chain / Daisy stitch for the leaves.

Once your French knots are done, you can finish the leaves too.
Final step would be to decorate the centre of the flower with a bead by stitching the bead to the fabric.
Then select the satin ribbon of your choice and make the string.
LO!.......your gift pouch is ready.

Tip: use different fabrics like felt , velvet, tissue, organdi etc., with varying shades. Makes for long lasting memories.
