Glow in the Dark Green Lantern Tshirt

Create your own custom t-shirts, like this glow in the dark Green Lantern tee, in just a few steps using the Silhouette Portrait® or CAMEO® and heat transfer material.

Supplies you'll need:

• tshirt

• Silhouette Portrait® or CAMEO®
• computer
• Green Lantern design
• Heat Transfer Material
• Hook Tool
• iron
• scrap piece of cotton fabric

Open the Green Lantern cut file (Design ID #34006) in the Silhouette Studio® software and resize the image to fit your tshirt.

Feed the black smooth heat transfer material directly into the Silhouette, shiny side down.

In the Silhouette studio software open the Cut Settings window > select Heat Transfer Material from the materials list > click send to Silhouette.

Using the hook tool, weed (or remove) the excess heat transfer from the clear backing.

Place the design, heat transfer material side down, onto your t-shirt.

Cover the clear backing with a thin piece of cotton fabric and press with a hot iron as directed on material packaging.

Once it has cooled slightly, carefully remove the clear backing from the design.

Repeat previous steps for the glow in the dark layer of the design. Once it is weeded, layer it in place over the black design and press with hot iron.

After it cools slightly, remove the clear backing > put on your new tshirt > admire your skills > take a selfie > #silhouetterocks
