Google-Eyes Halloween Wreath
This is a fun and cute Halloween wreath. Made out of recycled Christmas garland and a few dollar store bobbles, it is easy and inexpensive to make.
Supplies
- A 36 inch length of old Christmas garland
- 1 can of matte finish black spray paint
- 1 Halloween bow
- 1 bag of eyeballs
- Hot glue gun and extra glue sticks
- 1 long twist tie or thin wire
- Newpaper
Step 1-Prep and Painting
Remove pine cones or any other decorations from the garland, save for future projects. Arrange the garland on sheets of newspaper in the approximate shape you want your wreath to be and join the ends together to make a wreath. In short bursts, spray the garland lightly with black spray paint, leaving some of the green showing through.
Step 2- Attaching the Ornaments
Once the paint is fully dry, glue eyeballs on the ends of the branches, in no fixed pattern. With the twist tie or wire, attach the bow to the wreath. This can be attached at the bottom of the wreath as I have done or at the top, there are no rules with this wreath!
Step 4- Hang Up Wreath and Enjoy!
Make sure that you hang your wreath where everyone can 'keep an eye' on it!
