Gravestone Plaque

This a Halloween Gravestone Plaque I designed with Fusion and 3D printed on a Bambu P1s printer in black PLA. If it will be placed outdoors, consider printing in suitable material i.e: ABS or PETG.

Once printed I layered the paint starting with bronze and gold. Between each coat I let the paint half dry then rubbed it softly with a rag removing only the top layers in patches before applying the next colour. Use only flat or matt metallic colours. The lettering was painted in gold metallic and rubbed back then a light spray of black and rubbed back to reveal the gold underlayer. Once completed, I splattered a white-wash over it in patches, let that almost fully dry before dabbing softly to complete the paint works and creating a realistic look.

This will be placed on top of a headstone I made from a foam board purchased at Bunnings.

Designed created in Fusion. If using the Fusion file (v1.3mf) change the text in Fusion or use the blank file (v1.stl) to create our own text in the slicer of your choice.

Fix as necessary to your decorations with either hot glue, general purpose glue, BluTac etc... do not use strong superglues as these may attack the material it is printed from.
