This is my first homemade costume tutorial! It is also very easy! So, thank you so much for viewing and I hope you enjoy!

Make the Headband

To make the headband, cut narrow strands of paper, same height as washi tape. Then you tape the strands together, into one long strand. I used two strands to fit my head, but you can use as many as you need to fit around your head.

Make the Decorative Leaves to Go Around the Headband

Cut out a piece of paper [careful, it doesn't need to be too big! you can always cut more. you don't want to waste your washi tape.] and line it with washi tape, as shown. Then cut out leaves of all sizes!

Put the Leaves Onto the Headband

Take a small piece of tape, roll it up, and put it onto the back of a leaf. Stick the leaf onto the headband, and continue sticking leaves on, all the way down the headband. Stick them close to each other.

This is a pretty easy homemade toga. All you need is a white sheet and some clothing to go under it. The clothing: All you need is to put on a white tank top underneath and some shorts. Take your white sheet, and fold it to suit your height, so it's not too long. Hold it behind you. Fold one side over you, as shown, and leave the other side hanging, as shown. Pull the side you pulled over you behind you and over your shoulder. Take the hanging side and wrap it behind you, back to the front, and join the corner with the part you pulled over your shoulder, then tie it. There will still be a part that kind of hangs, so tuck it into itself. And now you have a toga! Now just to accessorize!

Accessorizing Your Costume

I added gold and white striped hoop earrings, and put my hair in a loose ponytail, but you can use whatever you want, and add a belt and\or a bracelet and\or a necklace. We don't wear our shoes in the house, so I couldn't put on my shoes for the picture. Just so you know, the shoes I would have worn with it were gold strappy sandals. You can use any kind of gold sandal, but I really like the tie up or gladiator shoes.
