Green Slime- Made From Glue!
After oobleck, slime is arguably the most enjoyable play-liquid you can make at home. Green slime is a quick and easy way to have fun with your kids, and to make this slime you'll need the following;
- One 4-Ounce Bottle of School Glue
- One Teaspoon of Borax
- Green Food Coloring
- 1 1/2 Cups of Water
- 2 Waterproof Disposable Bowls
Mixing the Glue
Dump the entire bottle of glue into one of your bowls and mix in 1/2 cup of water. Then, add green food coloring until you're happy with the color of your mixture, and mix the concoction until the coloring is distributed evenly.
Mixing in the Borax
In a separate bowl, mix one teaspoon of Borax with 1 cup of warm/hot water until the Borax dissolves. Then pour the Borax-water combination in with the glue and mix once again.
Enjoy! (and Clean Up.)
After a few minutes, the entire concoction should be sufficiently slimy for anyone to enjoy! And by the way, the slime can be washed off with water, so don't worry too much about getting your hands all messy. Also, the slime can be stored for a while if you seal it inside a bag and keep it in a cool place.
