You have probably heard of Aperitivo. Ever wondered what that actually means? I'll unveil the secret for you!
Aperitivo identifies a number of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks served in Italy (and elsewhere) before meals. It can be consumed standing up and it is not uncommon to drink aperitivo in a different location from where you will have your meal. Small snacks and finger food are served along the drinks and this social gathering has become very popular in Italy, becoming known as Aperitivo in itself.
Nowadays the spectrum of food and drinks served during an Aperitivo has broadened considerably and gives nearly complete freedom to unleash one's creativity. In this instructable I will show a quick and easy option for your next Aperitivo.

Preparation
I have used a baguette style bread because it's easier, but any other kind bread should do. I cut the bread into 1cm thick slices and placed them on the grill in a hot oven. It took only 5 minutes at 200°C and they were golden brown and crunchy. Just about the time to thinly slice 2 stalks of celery, place them in a bowl with a little oil of olive and a pinch of salt
Finish Up and Serve
I then spread a layer of gorgonzola cheese on every slice of bread, added the celery with a spoon and used scissors to cut and sprinkle with chives these yummy snacks.
