Guide to Airsoft

In this instructable I will teach you the basics of airsofting!

This is the most important step!!!

1. Get a rifle, shotgun, or machine gun ranging from 250-350 fps unless you are a sniper, in witch case the fps should be above 400.

2. Get a secondary weapon such as a pistol or mini automatic ranging from 225-300 fps. ALWAYS HAVE IT READY TO USE!!!

3. Get a pourable ammo container with at least 2000 bbs. If you have a non-pourable container use a drinking bottle of some sort.

Basically the most important thing is goggles/mask. I recomment a mask to protect your whole face. I play night matches with my friends so i just wear a black spring coat & dark jeans. When I play in a forest i wear camo. Thats all you need. Have a holster for your pistol too.

After you get your equipment, you have to practice your dodging and shooting skills.

For shooting: Set up some paper targets and practice on getting near the center of the target. If you can ace that then you will ace airsofting!

For dodging: Have your friend throw soft object slowly at you and dodge them. Keep increasing the speed of the flying objects and that should help you a lot.

When you are ready to have a war or battle, you can also take grenades, smoke grenades, etc. You can also be like everyone and cheat. Sneak some party poppers or firecrackers in so you can use them to distract other players.
