Gym

This is our gym for the Make it Real contest. It is designed for people both with and without disabilities. This means that we have ramps and wider doors to make our gym wheelchair friendly.

On this floor we have treadmills, bikes, weights, two changing rooms, two massage centres, one lounge area, two saunas, an indoor pool, an indoor spa, and two bathrooms.

In our gym, we have 5 treadmills. We made this by using about 8 cubes and making them into rectangles and then arranging the different sized shapes to look like a treadmill.

We have four stationary bikes. These were made from a lot of cylinders and a couple of cubes tilted at different angles to form the shape of a bike.

In the room with all the other equipment, we also have weights. There is one barbell and one weights machine. These were made out of cylinders for the weights and rectangles.

In the room with all the equipment, there are also two vending machines. One would be filled with healthy snacks and the other would be filled with water and energy drinks.

In this room, there is a pool, a spa, and mats where you can relax. To make the pool, you use a white rectangle and then make a blue rectangle and put it in the white rectangle to make it look like a pool. The mats are just cubes that have been shaped to look like rhombuses. Then, the spa is made the same way as the pool but using circles. And hanging on the wall, there are two life preservers for safety.

In the locker room there are lockers, bathrooms, benches, and a sauna room. To make the lockers we used a big cube and then smaller cubes to make the separate lockers. The bathrooms have a toilet and a sink in each of them that are made out of cubes. The benches are made of a rectangle. The saunas have benches in there to sit on that are made the same way as the benches in the changing rooms.

This room is a lounge area. It has a vending machine that can have healthy drinks and snacks. It also has a couch that you can sit down and relax on.

This area can be used both as a massage area and an area to go if your injured. Each of the rooms have one bed.

On the second floor, there is a cafe full of healthy snacks and meals that is accessible by a ramp.

This is a cafe that serves healthy food and drink. It also has tables, chairs, a counter, a welcome mat, and a cafe sign.

This is the front of the gym. There is a ramp that takes you up to the cafe. This was made out of rectangles angled down to make the angle of the ramp. There is also a fountain in front of the gym. This was made out of circles that are both beige and blue. On the front of the gym, there is a sign that says Gym and some decorative bricks around the door.

At the back of the gym, we made a running track. This can be accessed through a back door.
