HOW TO CONSTRUCT AN INSTALL A GASOLINE FLOW CUTTER IN YOUR VW BUS FOR LESS THAN 3$
INTRO. Gasoline tank in VW Bus or another VW models (Beetle, Kombi etc.), are in elevate position to facilitate gasoline flow assisted by gravity. When we need to repair any part, at the final gasoline line (ej. replace gasoline pump or gasoline filter, replace or clean the carburetor, or change the gasoline hose itself, gasoline spread in the floor ¡any time!.
By installing a simple “flow cutter” in the tank out line, we avoid to spread gasoline in the floor in elegant manner.
Time: This project took about twenty minutes (or less) of constructions time. It took a couple of hours to find all the parts.
Cost: less than 3$.
Difficulty: very low.
Materials:
1. One tap that used in yard machine or another gas operate
outdoor device.
2. Two security clamps 3/8 inch diameter.
3. One screw driver.
4. One knife or another fine cutter device.
5. A pair of pliers.

STEP 1 Interrupt the gas flow in the out gasoline hose, by pressing then with a pliers (this is the no elegant manner).

STEP 2 Cut the gas hose with the knife.

STEP 3 Turn off the tap an insert then on both gasoline hose extremes.

STEP 4 See that both hose connections are well sealed with security clamps (that not drop any gasoline portion).

STEP 5 Turn on the gasoline flow and start your engine.

Our goal is not spread gasoline on floor, when you need to work on the engine of your car. This entire project cost less than three dollars, as I already had the screws, pliers and cutter. The only thing I purchased was the tap and clamps which cost $2.5.
