3D Designing is a fantastic expertise that is being utilised in numerous ventures. In this tutorial article, we will direct you on 3D designing utilising SelfCAD . I decided to involve SelfCAD as need might arise to have insight in 3D modelling to utilise it. We will begin by making the circle shape, we will change it with tools like Follow path, Resolution, Fillet, Combine, and so on. This tutorial blog guides Geom clean to make the shape that we wanted without disturbing the entire turn of events.

Whenever you are finished with the 3D design process, you can involve SelfCAD's in-fabricated slicer to set up your plan for 3D printing. The slicer is viable with the vast majority of the normal FDM 3d printers and modifying the settings is simple as well.

So how about we presently get everything rolling!

Draw a 3D Sketch

First of all, go to the drawing category and select the 3D sketch. From the plane list, select left/right. Set snap to grid vertices. Then draw a figure as shown in the image.

Fillet the Edges and Insert a Cube

Next, go to the modify category and select the fillet tool. Set the intensity to 5. Then, from the 3D shapes, insert a cube to the working interface. Set height to 3.6 and depth to 1.

Set Follow Path Option and Combine Them

Now, select the profile_1 and from the tools category select the follow path option. Set mode to wrap, direction to right, and repeat to true. Then from the utilities category, select the combine option. Set method to merge and remove inner faces to true.

Geom Clean and Resolute the Object

Next, from the utilities category we will select the geom clean option. Then opt for edge selection. After that, go to the modify category and select the resolution tool. Set detail level to 0.

Fillet the Edge and Insert a Cube

Now, select the corner edge of the table as shown in the figure. From the modify category, select the fillet tool. Set intensity to 20 and level to 10. Then insert another cube and set its width to 30, height to 5, depth to 30, position y to 50, position z to 75, rotation x to 16.

Select the Newly Inserted Cube and Fillet It

Next, we will select the shorter edges of the newly inserted cube. Then fillet it with intensity 2 and level 6. After that, select mesh_5.

Add Material and Texture to the Object

Now, go to stitch and scoop and select the difference option. Choose mesh_388 to subtract. Then select the material panel and set settings to texture, texture category to wood, and add any texture of your choice. After that, set settings to uv, mapping face to uv.

Delete the First Cube

Next, click on the inverse button to inverse the selection and delete the selected object.

CONCLUSION: THEREFORE, WE HAVE CREATED a 3D WOODEN SIDE TABLE IN SelfCAD

We've used different tools of SelfCAD to 3D design the table. Geom clean is one of the principal tools of SelfCAD, and you can apply it in different plans also. Beside knowing how to 3D model the thing, you can involve a similar technique in 3D designing different models in SelfCAD. Register yourself in SelfCAD today itself!!
