First of all, we draw the basic structure of the body (figure 1).

Once we have drawn the mannequin, we start adding detils of the face and body. We also draw clouds and the sun in the background (figure 2 - 3).

INKING

04.jpg

Once we have finished with the sketch, we ink the drawing and erase pencil strokes.

COLORING: SKIN

05.jpg

We color the skin with orange, yellow and pink shades.

We start from a light color and we watercolor it.

Once the paint dried, we color again with a darker tone and watercolor it.

We do this process several times, until we are satisfied of the skin tone.

COLORING: HAIR, CLOTHES, BACKGROUND

When we have colored the skin, we start paint clothes and hair.

I have chosen green for the shirt, violet for the pants and grey / violet for the hair.

However, you can choose you favorite colors for painting the girl and the sky :)

The process of coloring is the same as before: several layers of watercolor pencils, starting from lighter tones to the darker ones.

ADDING DETAILS

We finish the drawing adding details with watercolor pencils (dry on dry).

We also add reflections using white gel pen.
