HOW TO MAKE a WATER BOTTLE AIR PRESSURE CAP LAUNCHER

This is my first instructable so please give me good feedback. Also, you can check out my twitter on my profile. I am a rapper/gamer.

I recommend doing this experiment outside because it can hit someone. NEVER point the bottle at someone!

It can result in blindness, bruises, scratches, and bleeding.

All you will need is:

1. water bottle(any 16.9 fl oz works)

2. your hands

Twist the bottle with your hands moving in the opposite way, it might be hard at first but once you start it will get easier.

Twist the bottle until you can't twist it any more. It should look like the picture. Point it AWAY from people and hold it tight.

Point the bottle where you want it to go this can be up, down, or to the side. Using your thumb, twist the cap until it flies off. DO NOT PUT YOUR HAND IN THE WAY! It should sail at least 10 feet and make a loud popping sound.

I was able to get a maximum of 60ft from the cap, but how far it goes depends on how tight you twist it and how you release it. Like I said at the beginning DO NOT POINT IT AT ANYONE/ANTHING LIVING! This includes pets, humans, chipmunks and more.

You also might be able to get another shot from it, all you have to do is get the cap and twist it even tighter. The second launch will not go as far and will not be as loud.
