Halloween LED Witch Hat

This is a quick and simple project involving the great SuperFlex LED Strings, in color purple to match the hat. Spooky witchy purple lights glow from the inside of the fabric; no soldering involved, battery pack already attached.

Supplies:

Witch hat or any other object you want to bling out

SuperFlex LED strand with battery pack

Glue gun

Attach the Battery Pack

Our SuperFlex LEDs already come with a battery pack with a switch, it just needs to be attached in an inconspicuous location where it can be reached easily. In this case it is the underside of the brim at the back of the wearer's neck.

Place a battery pack where you want it. Cut out a piece of fabric roughly the size of battery pack, and sew it down. In this case the fabric is slightly stretchy which helps to hold the heavy battery pack in place.

String the LEDs

Thread the LED string inside the hat brim using a bobby pin.

Attach the Rest of LEDs

Turn the hat inside out and glue the rest of the string loosely spiraling towards the top of the hat.

All Finished

About 20 minutes - and the hat is wear-ready.
