Hand-Crank Fan

3D Printed hand crank fan, also makes a great fidget toy!

1. 3D Printer
2. Filament (Any Colour works)
3. Small Rubber Band (Use scissors if too big)
4. A connected BambuLabs 3D printer (I'm using an A1 mini, follow this guide to print from the BambuStudio Software)

In Fusion 360, I used the Gear Mech Tool to design precise gears by defining parameters like the number of teeth, pitch, and pressure angle, ensuring they meshed smoothly. For the fan, I utilized the Loft Tool to create smooth, aerodynamic blades by connecting multiple profiles along a path. This allowed me to transition between different shapes seamlessly, achieving the desired geometry for both the gears and the fan.
