My project is called a hand lever! i named it that because it is a simple lever example. my project is an example of how levers work.

Supplies

supplies:

3 pieces of construction paper
scissors

tape (scotch or masking)

pen/pencil

paperclips(small or big)

phone (to take pictures) s

tring (any type) about 1.5 feet long depending on how big you wanna make it

Cut Out the Hand, Forearm and Bicep

you can trace your own arm for this or you can just guess, but you need three different pieces the hand piece can just be your traced hand and the bicep and fore are are just ovals, make the bicep oval a little bit bigger than the forearm one. Draw the shapes on your construction paper with a pen or pencil than cut them out with scissors. (sorry about the mouse on the picture)

Tape the Hand to the Forearm

you could use glue to. just glue/tape it on how it looks in the picture

Add the Brad and the Paper Clips

connect the hand/forearm to the bicep using a brad. Add 2 paper clips to each part of the arm (the bicep and forearm) put pieces of tape on the back of the paper clips to make sure they don't fall off when you add the string

Thread the String Through the Paper Clips!

This one's pretty self explanatory, just take your string and put it through all of the paper clips.

YOUR DONE!!!
