Hand-Made Head Sized Bubbles

In this instructable you'll learn how to make bubbles as big as you want with minimal resources as a fun at-home activity.
Supplies
- Clean Water
- Soap
Find Water and Soap

You can go over to a sink, grab a water or some other form of a water source. Next locate any type of soap somewhere in your household or wherever you may be making the bubble.
Find Your Play/Work Space

I recommend finding a bathroom, a sink or an area where you don't mind making a bit of a soapy mess. If going outside works best for you then that is perfectly fine. Make sure to try and find open areas that aren't crowded or have any objects that may be intrusive when making your bubbles. Also avoid windy areas and strong A.C units as they may pop your bubbles before you do.
Soap Up

Once you have found soap, water, and a good location to make your bubble you will first grab your soap. Begin to apply it to your hands, if you're unsure then put the amount you would as if you were washing your hands. If you're still not sure don't worry you can add more as you go.
Add Water

Once you've applied your desired amount of soap go ahead and turn the sink on to a thin stream of water or add a palmful of water. Essentially what you should be doing for both this step and the previous one is to act like your about to wash your hands, you want your hands to have a proportionate amount of water and soap.
Form Suds

Then you're going to start rubbing your hands together in all directions and you should start to see suds form. You want your hands to have a good balance between the soap and water meaning not overly soapy but not too watered-down. If you realize you added too much soap or water then just go ahead and add more of the other element until you're satisfied with the balance and suds. It should look somewhat like the photo above.
Shape Your Hand

In order to get the bubble to form you have to have the right hand positioning. Make an "O" shape with your hands. [Tip: Make a fist with your hand then push your index to the middle of your thumb. Imagine your other 3 fingers are glued to each other and move them with the index.] It doesn't matter which hand you make the bubble with, you can even switch them as you go but pay attention to the following details:
- Your thumb has to be over your index finger and can be slightly over your middle finger
- Don't put gaps between your fingers
- The hole should be about the size of the point of your elbow or bigger
- Your index and thumb should never not be touching, the other fingers don't need to touch the thumb
Get the Pre-bubble

As you can see likely nothing would happen if you were to try to blow right now. So, you need to take your other hand and swipe it over the top of your hole. It should create a thin version of an incomplete bubble. If it doesn't then go ahead and continue attempting until it does. Do your best to not pop the bubble you already have as you complete the next step
Blow the Bubble

Make a small hole with your mouth or as if you're trying to whistle. Slowly but consistently blow into your hand and create a steady stream of airflow. Don't blow too fast and too hard because you'll risk popping your bubble. This may take a couple attempts until you really get it down. Once you've mastered that then get the bubble as big as you want it and continue to slowly blow air and close your fist.
