Handcrafted Metal Feather

Get a Piece of Scrap Metal

Cut the metal into a leaf like shape with a stem.

Smooth the Surface

Get a buffer and just make the surface smooth.

Burn and Cut

Burn where you want to make the separators and the cut a triangle.

Burn Some More

Burn the tip of thee soon to be feather so it looks darker

Drill

Drill a hole where the burn ends. You will have to do this in the middle.

Buffing

Buff the surface again just to make sure it is smooth enough.

Wiring

Get about 2-3 feet of copper wiring. Once you have that you are going to put it in the hole and make a hook at the top.

Hang It

Now you have made your own metal feather. Hang it on the wall or give it to some one for a gift.
