If you have a lot of cans laying around you need to get rid of than this activity is for you. This is how to reuse a old can and prevent it from being thrown away and wasted, and instead being turned into a fun décor project.

Supplies

The only materials you need is a x-xacto knife and string.

Find a Can

First you want to choose any empty can you have laying around. For this you should choose a long can so it can be cut in half. I chose a Arizona can because its design.

Cutting

Cut the can equally. Be very careful with the knife and the cans sharp edges. It's really easy to get cut or poked with the sharp edges. Next cut four holes at the top opening of both parts of the cut can.

Next thread the string through the holes to connect the cans, you can criss cross them or just connect them straight up and down. This doesn't have to just be two cans, you can add as many as you want.

Decorate!

Next add whatever you like to the cans. Even though it's made to be a planter it can still be used for other things like trinkets or even jewelry. I'm thinking of putting scented pouches in them and hanging them in my room.
