Healthy Granola Bars

IMG_5147.JPG

In this instructable, I will show you how to create Healthy granola bars with Nuttvia. The reason why I wanted to do this recipe was that I wanted to create a healthier alternative for all those granola bars out there on the market and so that is why I am using Nuttvia. Nuttvia is a hazelnut spread that contains 97% less sugar than the other brands and has no palm oil which makes it a healthier option from every hazelnut spread out there. This granola bar could be perfectly used as a pre-workout in order to get some chocolate and increase your energy throughout the time you are working out. The granola bar is a portion of perfect comfort food because it is easy to eat anywhere and easy to make.

Ingredients: 2 cups rice crispy cereal

2 cups oats (I used 1-minute oats)

1 cup Nuttvia (or peanut butter, etc.)

1/2 cup honey 1/4 brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Press mixture firmly into a pan and set in the fridge for at least 30 min. I recommend keeping it in longer so it doesn't fall apart while cutting.

Ready to Eat!

After getting it outside and cutting it, store it in the fridge in an airtight container. Now you can enjoy your healthy granola bar :).
