Healthy and Fluffy Pan Pizza
Calling all cooks! Whether you are a beginner or an advanced cooker, this pan pizza will satisfy your skills. It is easy, fast, and most importantly, delicious! It takes approximately 2 hours to prepare but that is counting the oven time and the time it takes for it to triple in size. Also you dont need to mix anything, just put everything in a mixer and it can do all the work for you. This pizza is designed to be fluffy and not crispy so dont be suprised when you take it out of the oven. I am making 3 pan pizza's so dont get confused when you see different pans for different steps. :) I am warning you before you make this that this pizza will be the best you have ever eaten (better than any pizza place, that is).
Ingredients
For the Dough
π2 Cups Flour
π1 Cup Warm Water
π1 TBSP Yeast
π1 TSP Sugar
π1/2 TSP

π1 Onion
π1/4 Cup of Tomato Sauce
π1/2 TSP Salt
π1 TBSP Oregano
π1-2 TBSP Black Pepper
π1 TBSP Lemon Juice
Toppings
(This is what I used, you can use whatever you want)
πMozzerela Cheese
πChedder Cheese
πGreen Bell Pepper
πOnion
πTomato
The Dough
1. In a blender add all the dry ingredients for the dough and let it mix for 20 seconds
2. While the blender is mixing slowly add the water needed then keep it mixing for 30 seconds
3. Slowly add the oil and let it mix
4. Make sure it mixes for at least 3 minutes afterward
Put Dough in Pan
1. Grease the pan well from the bottom all the way to the sides
2. Put the dough in the pan and then make it even throughout
3. Cover with plastic wrap and leave alone for 1 hour or until it triples in size
Pizza Sauce
1. In the blender add onion, tomato, and bell pepper and mix until you cant see any whole peice of vegtable
2. Add the Tomato Sauce, salt, black pepper, and oregano then mix it for 30 seconds
3. Keep it mixing for about 1 minute
(Note: You can add more spices if you wish and more vegetables, but this is the recipe I used)
Pizza Sauce, Continued...
WARNING(Before you continue I must warn you that the smell is unbearable)WARNING
1. Set the stove top on high and put a little of olive oil
2. Add the sauce that you just made
3. Let it come to a boil (about 5 minutes) then change heat to low for about another 5 minutes
4. Let it cool
(Still smells good...)
Toppings
1. Get you mozzarella and cheddar cheese ready
2. Slice the tomato, pepper, and onion into small pieces
(Note: You can add any other toppings, such as meat, but I am making a veggie pizza)
Pizza Toppings
1. When the dough has triples its size add the sauce on the pizza very carefully. You dont want to get rid of any of the air bubbles because they are what makes the pizza fluffy.
2. Add the cheese
3. Add the toppings
4. Add more cheese
Bake the Pizza
1. Preheat Oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Put pizza on middle rack closest to the bottom
3. Check on Pizza every 5 minutes (Should take about 20 minutes to bake)
4. Take pizza out when the bottom is golden brown and the cheese has melted and became golden brown from the edges
Bon Appetite
There are no steps for this step but if there were they would be:
1. Enjoy
2. Share
3. Enjoy
4. Make again
5. Announce it as the best pizza you have ever had
6. Repeat
This pizza is really good, it is healthy, and you actually know what is in it. From the three pizzas I made, there were thin pizzas and some were thicker. The best tasting one was the thickest one so I recommend you make it thick.
If you plan on making this don't forget to share! Ask any questions below and I will answer them to the best of my ability!
