Heavenly Chocolate Mud With an Oreo-Nutella-Brownie Bottom
The Heavenly Mud is a mouth wathering-a-lot-of-chocolate dessert. The recipe for the chocolate mud is a family recipe. Be warned don't eat it after a heavy meal because you don't want to stop eating this delicious dessert!
Only make this dessert if you have a couple of hours because there is a lot of waiting time due to the chocolate mud which need to stay in the refrigerator an hour of two between the 3 layers.
If you want to simplify the recipe, you can exchange the home-made brownie for a ready to eat store bought brownie. In that case start at step 7.
Do you not like oreo or Nutella? No problem! Just leave them out of the recipe!

Ingredients Heavenly Mud for 4 people:

- 60 g dark chocolate
- 60 g white chocolate
- 60 g chocolate with caramel sea salt
- 3 tbs milk
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbs white sugar
- raspberries
- 3 oreo cookies
- mixer
- mixing bowl
- pan
Ingredients topping:
- 50 g Heavy Cream
- dark chocolate
- raspberry
- grater
Brownie - Melting the Ingredients
Start by melting the milk, butter, dark chocolate and Nutella in the pan. Stir often and set the fire to the lowest setting otherwise your chocolate will burn.
Pre-heat the oven on 175 degrees.
Brownie - Mixing the Ingredients Part 1
While your chocolate mix cools, add the sugar, egg, the egg yolk and the vanilla extract in the mixing bowl and mix it creamy with a mixer.
Brownie - Mixing the Ingredients Part 2
Add the egg/sugar mixture to the chocolate in the pan and stir it.
Brownie - Smashing the Oreo
Put the Oreo in a plastic zip bag and smash it in little pieces.
Brownie - Mixing the Ingredients Part 3
Add the flour, cocoa powder and smashed oreo to the egg-sugar-chocolate mixture and stir it until it is an even substance.
Brownie - Bakingtime
Add a baking paper to your baking tray. It doesn't need to be folded perfectly because we're going to crumble the brownie later on.
Bake the mixture in a pre-heated oven on 175 degrees for 40 minutes.
If it is finished let it cool.
Brownie - the Bottom
When the brownie is cooled down take a piece of it and put it in the bowl or jar you want to make your Heavenly Mud in. For each person I use a separate bowl or jar. Press the brownie till it's a nice bottom from 1.5-2 cm.
You will probably have to much brownie to fill the bowl's but that means more brownie for you to snack! ;-)
Mud - Melting the Chocolate
Add 1 tbs milk and the chocolate with caramel sea salt into the pan and let it melt on the lowest fire. Stir often or your chocolate will burn. When it is completely melted set it aside to cool down.
Mud - the Egg Yolk
Take one egg. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white. Add one tbs of sugar to the egg yolk and stir it creamy with a fork or a small whisk.
Add the egg yolk mix to the melted chocolate and stir it.
Mud - the Egg White
Take the egg white from one egg and stir it with a mixer until it is all stiff.
Add the the egg white to the chocolate and stir it.
Mud - Whipped Cream
Add 80 g of the the whipped cream to the chocolate and stir it until it is smooth and even.
Mud - Add to the Bowl
Time to add this delicious mixture of chocolate to the bowl or jar. Be aware you are gonna add two more layers of chocolate mud so don't add too much.
Don't forget to lick to pan. Those melted chocolate leftovers are so good!!
Mud - Repeat
Repeat steps 8 till 11 with the white chocolate and the dark chocolate. Before you go to step 12: add raspberries to the white chocolate and smashed Oreo to the dark chocolate. Stir it well and add it to the bowl/jar as layer 3 and 4.
Toppings
For the topping I start with adding the heavy cream on top of the chocolate layers. I did it with a disposable piping bag but you can also just add it with a spoon.
Second I add some grated dark chocolate.
Last I decorate it with a couple of raspberries and some brownie crumbs.
You can also add some oreo or some fruits to your choice.

Enjoy your home-made Heavenly Chocolate Mud! :D
