Hide Pendrive Inside Mouse

Hello everyone....!

In this instructable i'm gonna show you how to hide a pendrive inside the mouse........

ok guys...you can hide your pendrive where ever you want .....like you can hide it in the secret box in kitchen ....or u can hide it in your shelf secretly.....!

But the thing is if you want to access the hidden pendrive...you have to take the pendrive from the secret place...

so i'm gonna show you how to hide a pendrive inside the mouse...and we can access it just by a click....

Parts Needed

you will need some parts

1. old computer mouse.

2. a pendrive to hide. (If your pendrive is big you will need big mouse..)

3. push to on/off switch.

4. female USB connector. (I got it from the old pc)

Attaching a Rod to the Switch..!

You just need to take the switch and drill the hole at the top of the switch and connect a small rod to that...

Attach the Switch to Scrolling Wheel..

so now you know why I had used a small rod.....just to attach a scrolling wheel to the switch......

and also we can be able to scroll the wheel around...so no one can get doubt on that...

Connecting the Scrolling Wheel and Switch...

In the first pic I have just disconnected the switch......

and in the second pic I just cutoff the unwanted circuit....

Connecting USB Female Port...

we are just disconnected the mouse circuit completely...

If you don't know the female usb port pinouts then observe the pic 1..

and connect the circuit as shown in the pic2..

the 3 pins should connect directly..(i.e D-,D+,GND...)

the VCC should connect through the switch......becoz when we turn off the vcc to the pendrive ,it won't work.....

Pic 3 shows the connections of the project...!

Attaching Mouse Lens and Circuit...

...I have attached mouse lens to the cabinet...by using some glue.....becoz when circuit is cutoff the mouse lens cannot get attach to the cabinet...so it will look hallow from the bottom side....

Prototyping It

then connect the circuit and...

just prototype it by shortening the wires...as shown in pic....!

How to Use That...!

As shown in the pics above ....no one can doubt that we have hide a pendrive in that....

so if anyone plugs the mouse...It shows nothing becoz we have disconnected the circuitry of the mouse completely...

If you wanna access it ....just click the scrolling button once...It just connects the vcc to the pendrive and we can be able to access it...

If you want to hide it ...then you can just press the scrolling button again...then it just disconnects the pendrive from the pc......!

so you have successfully hid the pendrive inside the mouse....you can also hide sd cards...etc
