Holy basil (Tulsi ,Ocimum tenuiflorum) is a sacred plant in Hindu belief.It is cultivated in Southern Asia, in places like Thailand, India and other Hindu influenced countries. The tulsi plant was discovered over 5000 years ago. Tulsi plant worshipped in mornings and evenings by the people. Ingradients:
12 holy basil leaves
1 cup water
honey or sugar to taste.
METHOD:
1. Take fresh tulsi leaves and wash them well to remove all the dirt.
2. Boil water in a pan. Once it comes to a boil, add the fresh tulsi leaves and switch off. Close with a lid and let it steep for a few minutes, strain and sweeten if desired.
3.The tea made with fresh leaves is light green in color with a mild smell of fresh tulsi leaves.
Eat 5-6 Leaves of Holy Basil
