Want some clean, efficient, and portable power? Follow these steps to make your own homemade n' handy power station. You'll need: a 12v battery, a 12v solar regulator, some wire, a 12v female plug, and a solar panel. From my experience, a 20w 12v 5000mah solar panel should give you ample power. Of course, you can choose whatever kind of solar panel you want. Always remember that too much power or too little can ruin the battery, regulator, or the object you are powering. I am not responsible for any kind of fire or injury. I made a basic schematic.

There are plenty of 12v batteries on Ebay or Amazon. If you want plenty of juice, go for a battery with a hi "mah". Next, choose your regulator. Be sure it's rated for 12v solar panels. Finally, pick your solar panel. Make sure that it's 12v if your regulator is 12v. Oh! you also need a 12v female plug. Cars have' m.

Box

Make a box that suits your taste - wood or metal or plastic. Make sure it's large enough to house all your components (except your solar panel). In this case I did mount a cheap panel on the inside.

Next, place your components inside. Make place for wiring. Drill a hole for the 12v plug.

Wire your components. Don't short out any wires.

Test it! Hopefully the regulator puts out 12-13v out of the plug. Have fun with your power station.
