Homemade Chocolate Sauce

well, I was just fiddling around with chocolate bars in my kitchen and stumbled upon this. note: this is not syrup. this is not viscous in any way. it is a sauce for adding to coffee, ice cream, or drinking straight up. :)

Obtain Materials

you will need 4 necessary things for this.
1. a bowl
2. half and half (half cream, half milk)
3. a chocolate bar
4. a containment device

optional
some sort of mixer (like for coffee, tea, etc.)

Measure and Pour Cream

you will need one-half cup of cream for this. measure it and put it in your bowl.

Heat in Microwave

heat the cream for 45 seconds, depending on your microwave. if it's too cold, microwave it for longer.

Break Up Chocolate

break up the bars of chocolate into the smaller bars. if your chocolate doesn't have any of those, just break it with your hands or a knife (an old knife would be best.)

Add Chocolate to the Mixture

stir in the chocolate, adding a peice every few seconds. it doesn't matter it the first one is melted, just keep adding them. once you've added them all, continue stirring until it looks like the second picture.

Microwave and Stir

You're Finished

you have now made chocolate sauce. please note that you could multiply the ratios to make more sauce, and also experiment with more or less cream or chocolate to see what happens.
