Homemade PCB Etching (through Hole Parts)
In this tutorial I will show you how to make single layer PCBs at home. The chemicals that you will need to etch the copper are pretty cheap and widely available. But always be careful with etchants and do NOT use your sink to get rid of the waste later.
Watch Part 1 of the Video!
The video gives you all the info you need to get started with the design of the PCB. But here are some useful links to get the job done.
Make Your Design!
I only showed the software Eagle. But there are plenty more PCB making software out there. If you still want to use Eagle then here is the link:

Maybe some traces of your PCB must be handle to more current than others. Here is a trace width calculator. All you need is the depth of you copper layer and the current that will flow later:

And as you saw in the video, it is also helpful to have a mm to inch converter:
And if you only want to remake my project then you can find my Eagle files here:
Watch Part 2 of the Video!
Part 2 is all about the process of transfering the design from paper to the copper board. And also about the main etching part. Which is super easy in comparison to the transfer part.
