How to Back-Up in Notability- Ipad

This is a quick blurb on how to automatically back up notability files onto any provided service, but this focuses on Google Drive (which I recommend because it's free!)

Step 1: Find It!

Directions:

-open the notability app

-find the gear in the bottom left corner and click

Step 2: Pick Your Poison

Obviously not all apps are the same, but some work better than others depending on your work or other devices, so pick your poison.

Directions

-Pick your preferred storage service

-click!

If you're a newbie... It might ask for a log in and such, so make one or log in. Usually it'll redirect you in order to do this.

Anyway...

-this will lead to a lengthy back-up
(sometimes you have to keep the app open to allow the uploads to complete, but other times it works if you leave it running in the background: it depends on your background app refresh setting on your iPad)

-over time, the back-ups are so quick you'll forget you have them

Step 3: Sort It Out

*Google Drive choosen*

Directions:

-choose which folder your notability files will be located in in google docs

-then, choose a format convenient for you such as PDF

-finally, choose which notability subjects you'd like to backup
(any new folder created after the fact will automatically back up)

Congrats! You're all set and safe!
