How To- Duct Tape Braided Bracelet

Ok these are adorable and really fun to make!!! Also there a great way to accessorize any outfit.

For this instructable you will need...

1. 2-3 rolls of duct tape (patterned or solid colors)

2. A cutting mat

3. An Ex-acto knife

4. A ruler

First you need to measure your wrist so you know how big your bracelet will be.

I like to make mine a little bigger than my wrist so I can slip the bracelet on and off easily.
I usually make mine 9 1/4 inches long

Make sure you make all your strips are the same length. If your using only two colors then just do one strip of each color if your using three do the same. Like in the pictures.

When you cut all your strips cut each of them in half. Like in the pictures above.

Now set one off the strips that you want to use to hold the bracelet together and cut it in thirds they don't have to be even

Then when you cut the strip in thirds cut on if them in half

Now set all of your little strips to the side and take one of your longer strips and lay it sticky side up and fold it in half then fold the rest of the sticky over so there is no more sticky showing. Do this to the other two strips.

Now comes the fun part. THE BRAIDING!!!
Take one of your really little strips and wrap it around all your strips.

Then take one of the bigger strips and tape down the strips.... Then start braiding!!

When you hit the end of your braid take your last little strip and wrap it around the end you should have a little bit of the strips showing at the end

Then take up the braid and attach both ends to the strip that held the braid to the mat and fold everything over and use your last strip of tape to hold it together

And then your done!
