How to Make a Big Fancy House in Minecraft

Before we begin, I would like to warn you that this is just a general guide to house building, I will not give exact proportions as some people want a different kind of house.

WARNING: This guide is made fore Minecraft 1.8. Other versions may be used, but you will not have the same results. Particularly with doors.

Now let's get building!

Step 1: Build the Frame

Picture 1: Build a few squares/rectangles. You do not have to build it in this way, but this is the template I am using.

Picture 2: Remove the walls to make it one shape.

Picture 3: Build the walls up to about 4-5 blocks high.

Picture 4: Build the wall layouts for your rooms. As you can see, they do not have to be square.

Picture 5: Make the floor patterns for the seprate rooms.
