How to Make a Lego Man Costume.

Have you ever wanted to have an original costume that no one else has? Well here is your chance. This costume is always a big hit which means more candy. And it is always a bonus to be able to scare someone by twisting your head 360 degrees.

You will need several large card board boxes, tape, glue gun and glue sticks, scissors, a ruler, a black sharpie marker, spray paint, a hard hat. a yellow Homehardware utility bucket, dremel and a small bit, a pair of yellow rubber gloves some black craft/fabric paint, and a sweater what ever colour your top will be on your costume.

For this step you will a large card boar box that will fit around your upper body comfortably. You will now need to cut out three holes one for your head, and two for you arms. And cut out the flaps on one side so you can wear the box. You may need to unfold the box in order to do this and tap it back together. Don't worry the tape will be painted over later. Make sure the holes are big enough ro wear with a sweater on other wise it won't have the desired effect. after you hve done that put on your top to try it on then wear your yellow rubber gloves. It will look like this picture of the top half of the lego man.

For this step you will need to do a lot of the same stuff as in the previus step. You will need two leg size boxes. cut them where your knees would go, so you dont fall every time you have to go on a flight of steps. when you have done that u will need to take two shoe box bottoms and cut a hole so a can put your foot into them. You will now have a top with hands and legs with feet if done correctly.

for this step you will need to take your yellow bucket and cut bottom off and remove the handle. After this is done cut out two holes with the dremel so that you can see where you are going. This can prove incredibly difficult so you may need help. After this is done cut out the nettion on the helmet and glue it on the half of the bucket where the bottom was. Now if done correctly you should have what resembles a lego man with no smile. You should add the smilwe with a black sharpie marker or for best results should use craft/fabric paint. The head of he costume should look like this when finished.

When you are ready to decorate you should start by painting the top half one colour then painting the legs another so as to get a enlarged lego man. You have already painted your head so no problem there. This entire costume may take three or four days to make. So take your time it won't be the fastest costume ever made but it will have nice quality. if done correctly your costume should look lik this!
