How to Make a Snitch Valentine

Its nearly Valentines Day 2015, and I want to bring everyone's favorite wizard -Harry Potter- to you (or your kid's) classroom! Here's an easy way to make a Snitch valentine!

This is a pretty easy craft, so this can be made with household items.

• 1: The base

The base can be made with many things. I used a circular 'box', but you can use pretty much any sphere. For making valentines, I suggest using lollypops. (P.S. You should try to find kind of big lollypops, dum-dums will not cut it but you can get Gourmet lolly-pops at Michael's and those are perfect for this kind of project)

• 2:The base décor

You should use gold foil for this, but regular silver foil will do (as seen here).

• 3: The wings

I use regular yellow construction for this, but if you want to spruce it up a bit you can use decorative paper.

Cover ball with foil (be sure to cover all of it)

1: Fold paper in half

2: Draw a wing pattern (don't be afraid to spruce it up a bit with some curls)

3: Cut them out (you should have 2)

Use a dab of glue on the end of the wing a press it against the body for 10 seconds
