How to Make Banana Boats
Step 1
Aquire a banana, chocolate (bar or chips), and marshmallows. You will also need a knife, aluminum foil, and a campfire (or grill).
Step 2
Take a knife and slice the banana down the center. Cut about half way through the meat of the fruit, but NOT all the way through the fruit.
Step 3
If you have a chocolate bar, then chop the chocolate into fine pieces. If you have chocolate chips, leave them be.
Step 4
If you have mini marshmallows, this does not apply to you. If you have regular sized marshmallows, cut them in to a mini marshmallow size or smaller.
Step 5
Compile the chocolate and marshmallows into the banana. Make sure that it is not coming out of the opening. (In the picture, the chocolate is under the marshmallows).
Step 6
Wrap the Banana Boat in aluminum foil tightly but NOT TOO TIGHT!!
Step 7
Roast over a fire (or grill) for a few minutes. I usually do about fifteen-twenty minutes, but it depends if every thing has melted or not.
Step 8
Take off of the fire/grill. The aluminum foil may be hot, so I usually use tongs.
Step 9
Enjoy! It may not look appetizing but I promise you, it is!!!
