How to Tie Shoes As a Lefty

Grab a lace in each hand.  Cross the right lace over the left, switching the laces between your hands.

Take the lace in your left hand, pull it under the intersection of the laces, and pull it back up to its raised position.  Pull down and out with both hands so that the intersection of the laces touches the shoe tightly, but comfortably.

Grab the left lace and form a teardrop shape with the pointed end towards the shoe, pinching between your thumb and pointer finger of your left hand.

With your right hand grab the other lace and encircle the teardrop at its base in a clockwise direction.

In this step, don't pull the end of the laces through.

While holding the left loop, pull the middle of the free lace through the opening beneath the loop created by the clockwise motion.

Pull the now two teardrops tight, the right teardrop to the right and the left teardrop to the left.
