How to Brew The Perfect Cup of Coffee

This is a step by step instruction on how to make the perfect cup of coffee at home. I know we all make coffee but if you follow these steps your coffee will taste much much better.

Grind It Like a Boss

Always grind your beans as close to the brew time as possible burr or mill grinder is best because the coffee is ground to a consistent size The size of the grind is HUGELY important If your coffee taste bitter, the grind is too fine If your coffee taste flat, the grind might be too coarse.

For the best result use a burr grinder and not a blade grinder. Blade grinders burn the beans in the process while burr grinders crash them without burning them. I recommend using Bodum Bistro Electric Burr Coffee Grinder

Add Water

Use filtered or bottled water if your tap water is not good or has a strong odor or taste maintain a water temperature

between 195 to 205 degrees Fahrenheit for optimal extraction.

Colder water will result in flat, under-extracted coffee, while water that is too hot will also cause a loss of quality in the taste of the coffee
